Attendify is the official mobile app for Sana'a University lecture attendance. Authorized doctors run live sessions; enrolled students mark presence using QR codes and/or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) during class. University managers administer accounts through a separate web portal.
Depending on your role, the app and our servers may process:
Camera: used on your device to scan lecture QR codes. Scanned tokens are sent to the university API. The app is not designed to store or upload photos.
Bluetooth: used to advertise or detect lecture beacons during an active session. BLE is used for attendance proximity during class, not for continuous background location tracking.
Attendance and account data are sent only to Sana'a University's Attendify servers. Data is not sold to advertisers. Access is limited to authorized university roles (for example managers and relevant academic staff) according to university policy.
Data is kept according to Sana'a University academic and IT policies, typically for the academic year or longer if required for official records. Contact the university for exact retention periods.
The mobile app communicates with our API over HTTPS. Management tools require authorized staff accounts. Device binding helps prevent one account from being used on many phones without approval.
This app is intended for university students and staff. It is not directed at children under 13.
You may request account changes or device rebind approval through university managers. Uninstalling the app removes it from your device; server-side records remain under university control as described above.
